Purpose:

Non-profit organizations and social service agencies receive funding and support from a variety of stakeholders and need to effectively communicate their organization’s objectives, needs and results through a communication plan. Research will make your communication strategy more effective and assist in the communication plan development, implementation and outcomes measurement. Attending this session will teach you:

  • The structure of an effective community outreach plan
  • Research methodologies to develop your communication plan
  • The important types of research to strengthen your communication plan
  • How to implement your communication/research plan
